Orange County Pressure Washing

For those unfamiliar with the term pressure washing we will try to give you a heads up regarding the procedure. Pressure washing cleans with a machine that uses techniques for a deep clean. Water under pressure scrubs areas that are difficult to reach or are just plain stubborn. Your garage floor and driveways would be good candidates. In all probability an ordinary do-it-yourselfer (DIY) would have to rent a pressure washer. If that is the case the DIY needs to take precautions because the power can do great damage in the hands of a novice.

Hitting windows with 3,000 pounds of pressure would be a disaster. The windows would not survive being hit with 5 gallons of water per minute during the deluge. The engine of your vehicle would not do well under pressure, the undercarriage would clean off the road grime, but again you would need to be careful where you aim it.

Those are just a couple of places you wouldn’t want the pressure washer to hit. Plants, animals or children would also suffer if hit with the pressure. The machine is an excellent tool when they are in the hands of a professional.

For a person cleaning exterior homes or office buildings that have been uncared for and vacant for months on end, the pressure washer would be helpful. The person using it should be a professional with the necessary knowledge to control the power without damaging windows, plants, etc.
For that DIY certain they can do any job, it would be a good idea to take advice from the place that rents the machine. Then try it out on an area where nothing would be damaged, and learn to aim it properly.

Safe cleaning products need to be used. Soda blasting is environmentally safe and is non-corrosive. Sandblasting should be done in a controlled area and is used to strip vehicles among other things. Dry ice blasting uses dense dry ice pellets that become gaseous upon impact and is safe around food products.

Professionals using the power tool know the procedures that work, and will achieve the best results in a short period of time. For a person unfamiliar with the power and pressure that could cause more damage, might get better results if he reverts back to the tried and true methods of cleaning. It will take longer and when in doubt, hire a professional.
